On JUNETEENTH, Thursday, June 19th, at 9:00 AM, we invite you to be a part of the iMAGINE JUSTICE Juneteenth Commemorative Walk —a 2.5-mile journey honoring the 2.5-year delay in freedom reaching the last enslaved individuals in Texas.
Registration
$35 for adults
$15 for teens (13 - 18 yrs) walking with a registered adult.
The walk begins at 31st Street Beach, continues north to 18th Street, and returns via the Lakefront Trail to 31st Street Beach.
Check-in begins at 7:30 AM, and the walk starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
